SVR4 SPECIALIX IO8+ DRIVER UPGRADE FROM
VERSION 1.00 TO VERSION 1.01
Specialix have issued a patch to the I08+ driver to resolve various issues. The new driver is now Version 1.01. It is issued on floppy.
To install the patch:-
1. Ensure all users are logged off.
2. Insert the floppy diskette into the floppy drive.
3. At the # prompt enter:-

| #tar xvf /dev/dsk/fo3ht | <CR> |
| #mv DRIVER.0 Driver.0 | <CR> |

4. Once the Kernel relink has completed successfully then reboot the system.
Observe the boot messages ensuring that the I08+ driver isshown on version 1.01 not 1.00.
5. Modify the on site document to show the new version of I08+driver.
Using a rubber band, attach the patch diskette to the I08package diskette.
Copies of the Patch diskette can be obtained from Production.
This Patch is to be installed at all existing sites without delay. Scheduling this will be the local CSS's responsibility.
Production are to ship the patched driver on all new SVR4 based systems which have I08+ configured.
