With effect from the beginning of April 1999 EDP introduce the Installation Check
List Form QF509.
A sample is shown overleaf. It is an aide-memoire, designed to help you ensure that
installations are completed correctly.
With every system for installation sent from GDC there will be a copy of the form.
Production are responsible for ensuring that a copy of QF509 goes with every system.
The installation engineer is responsible for completing the QF509 and returning it with
the Installation Certificate to Engineering Admin at Linford Wood.
To complete the QF509 the Installation Engineer is to enter the Customer Name, System
Type and Date at the top and Print their name at the bottom. All that is required is a
tick in the YES or NO box for each of the 20 items. Then Sign at the bottom.
Any NO tick will require a more detailed comment on the back of the form, as well as
carrying out the relevant reporting action and documentation.
