4.1 | the main
logic board can fail, due to a short between the 38 volt line and ground,
in one of the step - motor drive chips. |

4.2 | current sensed power supplies shut down without harm, but fused versions blow their fuses. | ||||||||||||
4.3 | the fuse f3 is a 5a pico fuse. MT part no. 076 733. | ||||||||||||
4.4 | if a printer
fails with no motor functions always check for a short between j301
pin 3 (38v) and 7 (ground) on the logic board before you plug in the replacement power supply. If there is a short, replace the logic board. |
