Reason for change
1.To introduce the Hewlett Packard 1.05GB half height disk into EDP range.
2.Change
2.1 the Hewlett Packard 1.05GB half height disk has been introduced into the EDP range.
Two disks can be mounted within one 6091 cabinet unit.
There are two SCSI id switches at the rear, one for each disk.
2.2stacking
Stacking the 6091 boxes iNCReases the area requirements. Each 6091
box has two slots
lenghtwise along the top and two rails lengthwise along the bottom. The
rails of any
6091 will slide in the slots of any other 6091, locking the two boxes
together. Using this
technique, the boxes (locked together) become a solid stack of up to
four units high. Do
not stack the boxes more than four units high. Each box on the stack
adds 10.9cm
(4.3 in.) To the height. Any stack of 6091s more that two boxes high
should have a
stability foot.

To stack 6091 cabinets, the special stacking hardware containing one
25cm (10in.) SCSI
cable, and one ac jumper cord must be ordered. This hardware enable you
to daisy-chain
the SCSI bus and AC power from cabinet to cabinet.
Adding a stability foot iNCReases the area requirements. The
stability foot is
approximately 36.8 cm (13.6in.) Long, 21.6cm (8.5in.) Wide, and 2.5cm
(1.0in.) High.
The stability foot must be used when stacking more than two 6091
subsystems.
