Dell's complete rack system helps ensure that your Dell components will function well together and give you the reliability that you need for your server environment.
This guide contains a site survey worksheet to help you establish the basic site requirements for proper rack installation. Use the worksheet to determine the suitability of your site, or contact Dell if you want Dell to conduct a site survey and/or rack installation. After the site survey worksheet has been completed (by you, by your Dell account representative with your authority, or by a Dell-authorized service person), your Dell account representative will use (or arrange for you to use) the Dell Rack Advisor utility to configure your rack. The output file from the Dell Rack Advisor utility becomes part of the order process for assembling the rack to your exact requirements.
