TO LIST THE REVISED INSTALLATION
PROCEDURE FOR THE HARDWIRED 2KVA LVC. |
- Further to feco lvc # 1 this feco lists the installation and connection procedure for
the sola 2kva lvc, model no. Mcr2000-h50, with a mec identity of ncr-2000-h50-lvc; as
supplied to customers from 1997 onwards.
This configuration is only for 240 volt ac output from a 180 to 260 volt ac input.
- Extra requirements are:-
- Beading or grommets,
Heavy gauge 4mm insulated earth
wire and.
Heavy gauge 4mm insulated link
wire.
These are to be provided by
production.
- Mount the unit and secure as necessary with fixing screws/ bolts.
- Remove the end cover to access the hard wire terminals.
- Knock out the appropriate metal disks in the casing to enable cable entry, and fit the
beading strip or grommets around the hole(s) to prevent chafing.
- Connect a shorting link of 4mm heavy gauge wire between h2 and h3, refer to diagram.
- Connect a link of 4mm heavy gauge earthing wire to x5 but do not connect it to the
chassis earth tag yet.
- Ensure the input cable is isolated from the mains, then feed it through the hole in the
casing, but do not connect anything yet.
- Feed the output cable through the hole in the casing, but do not connect anything yet.
- Connect all the earths, to the chassis earth tag.
- The wire from x5 (para 7)
- The output earth (para 9)
- The input earth (para 8)
- Connect the other outputs
- Connect the other inputs
- Replace the end cover.
- Make all external connections, apply power and test for function.
