REASON FOR CHANGE: TO LIST THE CONFIGURATION INFORMATION FOR THE MT1432 MODEM WHEN USED SYNCHRONOUSLY ON A LEASED LINE.
  1. Feco comms # 35 lists the setup and configuration for the multitech mt1432l modem when used asynchronously on a dial up line.
  2. This feco lists the setup and configuration for the 1432 when used as a synchronous modem on a 2 or 4 wire leased line.

    E.g. when connecting together two multiplexors on an analogue leased line.

  3. Configuration
    1. Initial dip switch settings for use during set up only

    3. Connect a terminal set to 9600 bps, 8 bits, no parity, 1 stop bit; to the modem by a cable type h.
    4. Enter atl5 <cr> and atl7<cr> this displays modem configuration.
    5. Enter at&f <cr> to set back to factory defaults.

    7. Enter atl5 <cr> and atl7 <cr> (this displays modem configuration)
    8. Check configuration is as per para 2.5 above.
