5.     configuring the aux port to receive input data

To configure the aux port on wyse 55 displays to support input devices such as bar code readers.

5.1    receive only

To configure the aux port to receive only, program a function key with "escd!".

Use the enter key on the numeric keypad to make the destination box display local.

When the port is set in the local receive only mode, the "<aux" will be displayed in the status line.

To disable the aux port, configure a function key with "escd spacebar" and set the destination to local.

5.2    bidirectional operation

As above, except to enable the port use "escd%".

To disable the port use "escd$".

5.3   for ktp 5312 hand held laser scanners, set scanner up to continuous full power, refer to feco bc # 2/1.
