Use a meter to check the following points:
1. ensure modification in FECO MT # 65 has been implemented.
2. check the following resistances. They should be less than 5
ohms measured from the metal work of the
mains input panel to:
A)the frame of the printer.
B)the paper tray
C)the interface plate
D)paper exit plates
E)metal paper guides
F)system
If the readings are high then corrective action must be taken by use of additional ground wires or scraping paint away to allow metal to metal contact.

3. refer to FECO MT # 77 to identify shuttle drive motor type.
If type fitted has diodes in its leads check
these are grounded.
Testing
Functionally test printer.
